Welcome to the home of the Northeast Huskies!

Affiliated with the UConn Huskies, we are a non-profit youth hockey association offering programs for children ages 3-18 years old.  Programs include travel teams from the Mite through Midget level, and Learn to Skate/Learn to Play and In House programs. The Northeast Huskies skate at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum on the UConn campus.

** Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Northeast Huskies are playing out of multiple rinks for the 20-21 season.**

If you have a future hockey star in your family and want to learn more about our program, please click on the Learn to Skate tab.

*No prior skating experience is necessary for or Learn to Skate/Learn to Play Program*

Effective immediately, we will not be allowing any spectators into the facility for practices or games. Players and rostered coaches will be allowed in 15 minutes before their ice slots and will be able to use the locker rooms with doors open. Please have skaters ready before entering the facility or ask coaches for assistance. If skaters need help with skates, guardians will be allowed 5 minutes in the lobby to assist while using social distancing markers. No one besides skaters and coaches will be allowed in the rink area.
Additionally, anyone on the property must be social distancing and wearing face masks, this includes outside. If you are unable to follow these guidelines, you will be asked to leave.
LiveBarn is available for viewing.
This will be in effect until further notice.
